Brothers and Sister! Technically
‘Politics’ means set of policies devised by the ‘Politicians’ i.e. the head of the
states and his cabinet for the
betterment of the inhabitants of the state in every
respect so that Waves of Peace and Harmony keep on emerging and inhabitants of the state have comfortable life. 

 

Brothers and Sister! 
A Muslim Scholar Imam Ghazali (RA) has defined ‘Politics’:

 

Politics’ is to reform public and lead them to the ‘Right Path’ that leads to success in this world and the life hereafter.

 

  ’Politics’ is the ‘Policy’ that creates respect, love, affection,
unity among the people.

 

Brothers and Sister!  To achieve the goal that the respect, love, affection and unity is developed among the inhabitants of the state, the ‘Politicians’ have to be sincere, honest and integrate.

 

Brothers and Sister! A Muslim
Scholar Imam Kholani (RA) has defined a ‘Politician’ i.e. head of the state:

 

The example of a ‘Politician’ is like a large and purified fountain of
water. The water from the fountain is flowing in the adjoining canal.

If people make the water in the canal dirty by taking bath or washing dirty clothes,
the purified water from the fountain will flow again in the canal and replace
the polluted element.

However, if the water in the Fountain is dirty and not purified, then the polluted water will flow in the adjoining
canal.

People cannot  be reformed and rehabilitated unless and until the ‘Politician’
is ‘Honest’ and Integrate’.                                                

Hon. R Reeves! Muslim Scholar Ahmed bin Omer bin Abdullah (RA) say:

I make Dua’a to Allah (SWT) that He (SWT) gives Toffeeq, with His (SWT) Grace, to the ‘Politicians’ to be ‘Righteous and ‘Pious’ as the success in this world and life hereafter is hidden upon the ‘Honesty’ and ‘Integrity’ of the Politicians.

 

WHY THERE IS NO PEACE IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD?  

 

Brothers and Sister! 
The main reason that there is No Peace in any part of the world, the lives of the mankind are not based upon implementing ‘Moral Values’, although talked about. The ‘Political System’ is based upon ‘Capitalism’. The ‘essence’ of Capitalism is to become ‘Wealthy’ irrespective of the means whether those are Halal or Haram or by Abuse of Power.

 

Brothers
and Sister! Politicians
are elected, appointed or nominated among
the inhabitants
of the state where they used to be ‘Laymen’.
When they are elected, appointed or nominated they
hold the status of ‘Public Authorities’ where
people listen to them as they become the Law
Maker and people will abide
by the Law. When they were ‘Laymen’ people
were not listening to them.

 

Brothers and Sister!  Technically ‘Public
Authorities’ are servants of the people that is admitted by the former Prime
Minister of the
United Kingdom Tony Blair. In one of his speeches or
interviews he proclaimed:

 

We
are the Party
of individuals.

 

We
are not the
Masters.
People are the Masters.

 

We
are the Servants.
We listen
to the people.

THE SUBJECT MATTER: WINTER FUEL ALLOWANCE

 

Brothers and Sister! Alhamdu’lillah! The project: Call
for Peace, in short,
warranted to set up Post: Politics United Kingdom to protest on behalf of the Old
Age Pensioners, where Chancellor
of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves Axed nearly 11
million pensioners
from Winter Fuel Allowance £200.00 and Winter
Allowance Payment of £300.00 for
the pensioners born before the year 1958 except the pensioners on Pension
Credit.

and Sister! You will gather the ‘Gearing’

Brothers
and Sister! Cost of Living beginning
to rise when
Russia invaded the sovereign country Ukraine
in Feb 2022. The USA, United Kingdom and European
Union levied sanctions against
Russia. The result was fuel prices rose immediately
where energy prices
also increased. In short, to lower the
burden on the consumers the
UK government gave a credit of £150.00 to
the households who were paying Council Tax.
The people who were exempt from Council Tax they were paid
£150.00. Moreover, the government gave a loan
of £400.00 to the consumer of energy
which will be repayable when the energy
prices will go down.
Furthermore, the pensioners were given Cost
of Living Allowance of £900.00 in
three instalments for the years 2022/23 and
2023/24. The Cost of Living Allowance for 2024/25 has been withdrawn
by the Labour government.

 

Brothers and Sister! Increase in Cost
of Living was
compensated by:

 

·      
Reduction in Council Tax                       150.00 one of payment

·      
Loan to Energy Consumers                   400.00 loan repayable

·      
Cost of
living Allowance                         900.00
for 2 Years

Brothers
and Sister! This help was
given when the Cost of Living was
lower than at this time i.e. in the year
2024/25. And the Chancellor of the Exchequer Axed
nearly 11 million pensioners
from Winter Fuel Allowance and
Winter Fuel Payment. The Chancellor consoled the
Pensioners that they will be compensated
by increase in pension of £1,700.00 over
five years i.e. £340.00 annually.

 

“It was made clear to me that failure
to act quickly would undermine the UK`s financial position with implications
for public debt,
mortgages, and price, so I took action to
make in-year savings necessary….to
target the Winter Fuel Payment to
those most in need, with the triple-lock ensuring the State Pension will rise
by an estimated £1,700 over
the course of this Parliament”.

Brothers and Sister! The Labour
Party assumed
power after 14 years. But the members of the party elected as Prime
Minister and Cabinet
Members appeared to
be immature Politicians and could not comprehend the psychology of the Old
Age Pensioners who had no
income other than the Basic State Pension.

 

Emergence
of Labour Party

 

Brothers and Sister! Politics of the United Kingdom was based
upon Capitalism by the Conservative Party where the Workforce was exploited and there were only two classes: Rich and Poor and No Middle Class.

 

Brothers
and Sister! In short, in 1945
General Election Labour Party
had landslide victory and Clement Attlee elected
as Prime Minster.
Under his premiership the work force
was looked after by nationalising the
industries of Basic Needs of
the consumers e.g. gas, electricity,
aviation and introduced many kinds of state
benefits e.g. child benefit, unemployment benefit etc. etc.
Moreover, also introduced National Health Service where
patient do not have to pay for any health
service other than what was deducted
from their Salaries as
National Insurance Contribution (NIC). Moreover,
the employer also
was asked to contribute NIC on behalf of the employees.

 

Brothers and Sister! As below is the history of politics of the United Kingdom from the year
1976:

 

·                
Prime Minister Harold
Wilson, all of sudden resigned on 16
March 1976,

 

·                
James Callaghan was
elected as leader of the party and became prime
minister,

 

·                
 James
Callaghan could not hold the Labour Party united,

 

·                
Roy Jenkins and
other members of the Labour Party disassociated
from the Labour Party and formed a New Political
Party: Social  Democrats۔

 

·                
Conservative Party won election in 1979 and remained in power until 1997.

 

·                
Labour Party members
were New Generation.
They had also developed ‘Capitals tic’ mind
and named the party New Labour.

 

·                
People were fed
up with Conservative Party
polices and in 1997 General Election had landslide
victory. People voted
for New Labour being the Labour Party of 1945 and
thereafter. But New Labour had
become more Capitalistic
Minded than Conservative party. New Labour privatised
rest of the nationalised
industry even Bank of England and
also introduced Tuition Fee.

 

·                
Conservative Party won General Election in the year
2010 and
remained in power until 2024.

 

·                
Labour Party secured 412
seats in the House of Commons, majority
of over 300 seats and
Sir Keir Rodney Starmer, leader of the Labour Party became the
Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and appointed ‘Immature’ Rachel Reverse as Chancellor of the Exchequer.

 

Brothers
and Sister! People
expected that the Labour Party will
look after the Old Age Pensioner but
it targeted the Old Age Pensioners and Axed
the Winter Fuel Allowance
all of a sudden which they did not
mention in their manifesto.
There was speculation
in You Tube video that Labour Govt., may increase
the Xmas Bonus,
keep paying Cost of Living Allowance to
pensioners and otherwise. But it went the other way round. The labour party
turned ‘Blind Eye’ to
the protests and ‘Deaf Ear’ to
the representation by the Charitable
organisation e.g. Age UK.
